How to add thunder and lightning in Photo using Adobe Photoshop

In my recent posting i put this photograph by adding the rain / monsoon effect so now lets put some more lightning in this

How i did this : keep a new layer, make a line with default gradient black and white color, go to render - differnce cloud - push control "I" which will invert the position.

Now go into the curves and enhance the white part and then cut the un wanted black area, after that you need to manage the thresh hold to make it look real, and on the back ground layer you can put filter - render - lense flare where ever require. . .

this photo i remember i took at around 7 am morning while having my breakfast at Nainitaal. the lake which is shown in the photo is Talli taal and on right corner its Malli taal.

I have just enhance the curves level in photoshop for a greater effect

take a sample rain photo select it through a marquee tool repeat the same part through healing brush on a new layer you can also give more effect by adjusting the hue and saturation. now adjust the opacity to look real

How to clean your skin pigments and add a digital make up on your photo. I havent worked more on this you can add more such as earings changing eye colors. this i did in 5 minutes time so if you have more time you can do it much better just play with perfect colors, gussian blur effect and of course changing the Opacity dont forgot to use the extra layers on this
